Described as “insightful, effective, compassionate, and motivational” by his clients, Carl Nielson combines almost 20 years of extensive operations and corporate management experience with over 20 years of talent management consulting and coaching. Carl believes that with proper cultural systems and tangible training and development in place, an organization can maximize all of its resources to be more than just successful — it can be the very best. He takes a holistic approach with every assignment, regardless of scope. Carl’s pioneering spirit, vision, and goal-oriented drive to support his clients are easily seen in his customized programs and the value received by each client.

He had a successful 18-year career in strategic HR management that includes managing acquisitions and divestitures, multi-national organizational growth, and significant reorganizations. His clients include Fortune 50 companies, mid-sized market leaders, and small start-ups across a wide range of industries. He holds numerous certifications in various business-oriented diagnostic instruments and tools, is a regular contributor to Workforce Online Magazine, is a certified facilitator of The Coaching Clinic™ for managers and leaders and is a requested speaker and workshop facilitator at conferences and professional meetings. He served for four years as a facilitator for the G7 CEO Roundtable for the Greater Dallas Chamber of Commerce, assisting small business CEOs in finding success and satisfaction.

Before launching his independent consulting business, Carl served as interim CEO of IHRIM, Inc, a non-profit professional association, in a critical turnaround situation that led to IHRIM’s survival and growth. He served as Director of Human Resources for Haynes and Boone, L.L.P., a national law firm headquartered in Dallas, TX. Earlier, he held HR management positions with Frito-Lay and Union Texas Petroleum, an Allied-Signal company.
